HOA Website is Now Live!

Thanks to new Board member, Dan Bockmier, the private HOA website is now available for residents to join.
Access to the site will require residents to register. When you click on the link below, you will see “Register” in the upper right hand corner. Provide your contact information, and you will receive an email approving your qualification once a Board member has reviewed your details.

NextDoor is a Great Way to Stay Informed

neighborhoodNextDoor is a great way for neighbors to share information, alerts, items for sale, recommendations and other useful neighborly advice. It is entirely safe and is growing in popularity, especially in senior communities. So far 35 people have accepted the invitation on this website to join their Temelec neighbors on NextDoor, bringing the total number of Temelec residents on NextDoor to 95. In addition to Temelec, you also have the option of sharing with 188 residents of Creekside and many residents of nearby Sonoma communities.

The HOA Board has requested that temelec.org not be used for alerts and HOA business, so even more reason to join NextDoor to stay informed on a timely basis.

HOA Documents

As of today, the Temelec HOA documents are no longer on the temelec.org website. If you need any documents, please contact Julie in the office at 996-1076, or send an email to temelecHOA@vom.com.

Just a reminder that the website is maintained by me for the benefit of the community and is not an official HOA site. Everyone is welcome to contribute stories, photos and articles. We now have over 100 subscribers!

Beginning this month, the HOA Board is distributing its own monthly printed newsletter and will continue to improve the ways in which it keeps residents directly informed. Please attend the HOA meetings on the second Monday of each month to learn more.

New Website Design

I have also changed the color palette to give it a cleaner look. Click on the heading to view. Hope you like it.

Temelec Contact Information

Everyone will receive a refrigerator magnet with the contact information for the website and the office.  The magnet was the idea of Francesca Johnson and designed by her. Thanks to Harriet and Walt Flanary for the extra work in distributing them.

Please note that we now have a dedicated email address for the website. It is temelecweb@gmail.com. All mail comes to Francesca and will receive a quick response.

Welcome to the New Temelec Website!

You are looking at the first website for the Temelec community. This site has many functions, but most of all it is a place where residents can obtain information and news about our community as well as contribute to its content.

Please take the time to provide your email address in the box to the right. This will not be used for any other purpose than to inform you when new content is added to the site.

These are early days and it will take several months for the site to be fully realized. Eventually the site will have:

  • Monthly updates on community happenings and news. More frequent alerts when there is an immediate need to get the word out.
  • An electronic version of the Smoke Signals. The paper newsletter will continue to be distributed. The website is in addition to the newsletter, not a replacement for it.
  • A way for the active members of the Country Club to communicate with residents about upcoming events and activities.
  • A written history of Temelec as well as oral histories captured on video from interviews with long-time residents.
  • Links to important documents, including HOA policies and amendments, by-laws, minutes and forms.
  • A directory of residents including phone numbers and email addresses, password protected so that it is not visible to the general public.
  • Memorials and obituaries.
  • Links of local interest, including money saving deals.
  • A gallery of photos of Temelec, both past and present.
