Seeking Candidates for HOA Board

Screen Shot 2013-02-02 at 3.10.27 PMThe Temelec HOA Board of Directors consists of five residents of Temelec, elected to each serve two years. Elections are held annually on the first Tuesday of April, with the closing date for nominations on the 26th of February. This year’s election will be for two Board positions. The Board members up for reelection are Ron Rampone, Landscape Committee chair, and Ed Kenny, Member-at-Large.

The Board is looking for volunteers willing to serve the community as Board members. If you are interested, please contact Julie 996-1076 at the office or Mike Cornelius at 935-9505.

Bus Bench for Barbara

Screen Shot 2013-01-08 at 11.16.37 AMGary Cramer has revitalized the broken bus bench at 47 Temelec Circle. He has dedicated it to the memory of Barbara Broderick who was active in Temelec affairs for many years, and added a plaque in her name.

Thank you, Gary, for a job well done and the kind thought behind it.

Welcome to the New Temelec Website!

You are looking at the first website for the Temelec community. This site has many functions, but most of all it is a place where residents can obtain information and news about our community as well as contribute to its content.

Please take the time to provide your email address in the box to the right. This will not be used for any other purpose than to inform you when new content is added to the site.

These are early days and it will take several months for the site to be fully realized. Eventually the site will have:

  • Monthly updates on community happenings and news. More frequent alerts when there is an immediate need to get the word out.
  • An electronic version of the Smoke Signals. The paper newsletter will continue to be distributed. The website is in addition to the newsletter, not a replacement for it.
  • A way for the active members of the Country Club to communicate with residents about upcoming events and activities.
  • A written history of Temelec as well as oral histories captured on video from interviews with long-time residents.
  • Links to important documents, including HOA policies and amendments, by-laws, minutes and forms.
  • A directory of residents including phone numbers and email addresses, password protected so that it is not visible to the general public.
  • Memorials and obituaries.
  • Links of local interest, including money saving deals.
  • A gallery of photos of Temelec, both past and present.
