Come to Hear Stories of Temelec Hall

A Day at the Races – Reminder

Screen Shot 2013-04-23 at 5.33.43 PMThe Temelec County Club is planning a day at the horse races at Golden Gate Fields on Thursday, June 6 and would like to know who is interested in going.

A special race will be named for the Temelec Country Club.

The cost of $45 includes bus transportation, admission, reserved seating, racing program and Turf Club Buffet (includes tax/tip).  Please call Nancy Pharo 935-7808 before May 24 to reserve your seat.

Book Lovers Club

Dr Alan Sogg, a Temelec resident, will lead the discussion of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility. Please call him with any questions at 939-0209.

Kentucky Derby Party Canceled

We will have an event to inaugurate the new community TV at a later date.

Upcoming Activities

April in Paris Cocktail Party on Sunday April 14th, 5-7pm. Cocktails available. No charge. Just bring an appetizer to share.

Bibliophilic Society meets on Wednesday, April 24th at 5pm in the clubhouse. Dr. Alan Sogg will discuss Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew.”

Chess Club. Paul Emerick is eager to get a new club started. Please call him at 935-8940.

Bridge Club. Call Charlie Wunderlich at 996-6395 if you are interested in playing bridge.

Garden Club: We are happy to report that Temelec residents are welcome to attend meetings of Creekside’s active Home and Garden Club. The next meeting is on Wednesday, April 10th at 1.30pm in the Creekside Clubhouse, 159 Ave Barbera. There will be a special presentation by Liz Parsons, Master Gardener, who will speak about “Wildflowers and Native Plants in Your Garden.” There is a $1 charge and refreshments are provided before the talk. Temelec Resident Seeks Volunteers for the Film Festival

Screen Shot 2013-03-18 at 11.27.30 AMThe 2013 Sonoma International Film Festival, on April 10-14, is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the year for Sonomans. There are still opportunities to volunteer, earn free admission to films and have fun!

Temelec resident, Trish Rodimer, is serving as the Director of Volunteers for the Festival.
